Seit 2022 vertritt Fabian Gatermann das Haus2, zuerst als Sprecher, ab 2024 im Vorstand eines gemeinnützigen Vereines. Das Haus2 ist ein unabhängiger Ort für Kollaboration mit Raum für aktuell knapp 40 interdisziplinären Akteur:innen.
Das Haus2 ist ein offener Ort für interdisziplinäre Kollaborationen in Kunst und Kultur, ein Freiraum, ein Modellversuch, der sich in einem permanenten und organischen Wachstumsprozess befindet. Wir gehen über unsere individuellen Produktionsräume hinaus in einen gemeinsamen Austausch, um das Potenzial aller Fähigkeiten und Erfahrungen im Haus auszuschöpfen und gemeinsam zu wachsen.
Haus2 und Vielfalt
Das Haus2 ist Heimat für eine vielfältige und diverse Nutzerschaft. Diese besteht aus verschiedenen Sparten und einer ausgewogenen Altersstruktur. Hier arbeiten aktuell Akteur*innen aus der bildenden Kunst, Theater, Design, kultureller Bildung, Illustration, darstellender Kunst, Musik, Dramaturgie und Autorenschaft. Viele der Nutzer*innen sind in parallel in mehreren Feldern tätig.
Haus2 und Gemeinschaft
Nur gemeinsam haben wir als Hausgemeinschaft die Kraft, das Haus2 zu einem pulsierenden Ort in der Stadtgesellschaft zu formen. Wir sehen unser gemeinwohlorientiertes künstlerisches Engagement als Chance für die individuelle Entwicklung und als Impulsgeber für die Stadtgesellschaft. Der Wille voneinander zu lernen, Dinge miteinander zu verhandeln und mit den Mittel der Kunst zu bewegen öffnet neue Türen. Dazu haben wir 2024 den gemeinnützigen Verein „Haus2 e.V.” gegründet und bauen die nötigen soziokratischen Strukturen mit Arbeitsgruppen und Beiräten weiter aus. Aus demselben Grund vernetzen wir uns mit allen anderen Akteur*innen im gesamten Gelände des KreativLabors und darüber hinaus, um die Kollaborationen nicht an der eignen Türe enden zu lassen.
Haus2 und Selbstverwaltung / Infrastruktur
Mit Haus2 entwerfen wir ein eigenes Modell, um nachhaltige Biografien zu fördern. Eines unserer Hauptziele als Verein ist es, für unsere Akteur*innen kulturelle Infrastruktur mit gedämpften Mieten bereitzustellen und ein Umfeld für kreative Produktionsbedingungen zu schaffen. Durch die gesammelten Kompetenzen des Hauses ist es unabdingbar, dass wir das Haus2 selbstständig verwalten und nutzergesteuert weiterentwickeln. Die Rückanmietung des Haus2 durch die Stadt München würde uns mehr Mitbestimmungsrecht, gedämpfte Mieten und mehr Gestaltungsspielraum für unsere Selbstverwaltung bieten.
Fabian Gatermann has represented Haus2 since 2022, initially as spokesperson and, from 2024, on the board of a non-profit association. Haus2 is an independent space for collaboration with room for currently just under 40 interdisciplinary actors.
Haus2 is an open space for interdisciplinary collaborations in art and culture, a free space, a pilot project that is undergoing a permanent and organic growth process. We go beyond our individual production spaces into a shared exchange in order to exploit the potential of all the skills and experience in the house and grow together.
Haus2 and diversity
Haus2 is home to a diverse and varied user group. This consists of different disciplines and a balanced age structure. Currently, people from the fields of visual arts, theater, design, cultural education, illustration, performing arts, music, dramaturgy, and authorship work here. Many of the users are active in several fields at the same time.
Haus2 and community
Only together as a community do we have the power to transform Haus2 into a vibrant place in urban society. We see our artistic commitment to the common good as an opportunity for individual development and as a source of inspiration for urban society. The willingness to learn from each other, to negotiate things together, and to make a difference through art opens new doors. To this end, we founded the non-profit association “Haus2 e.V.” in 2024 and are continuing to develop the necessary sociocratic structures with working groups and advisory boards. For the same reason, we network with all other actors throughout the KreativLabor site and beyond, so that collaborations do not end at our own doorstep.
Haus2 and self-administration / infrastructure
With Haus2, we are designing our own model to promote sustainable biographies. One of our main goals as an association is to provide our actors with cultural infrastructure at reduced rents and to create an environment for creative production conditions. Given the collective expertise of the house, it is essential that we manage Haus2 independently and develop it in a user-driven manner. The re-leasing of Haus2 by the City of Munich would give us more co-determination rights, affordable rents, and more creative freedom for our self-administration.
