Papierrelief
Das Papierrelief ist eine Metapher für unser Leben zwischen Höhen und Tiefen, Schönheit und Rissen. Eine Beziehung wie zwischen Eltern und Kind, Holz und Papier, das gleiche Material in unterschiedlicher Ausprägung. Die gleiche Struktur wird tradiert, im Unterschied zum Druck aber nur der Teil, der über meinen Willen über die Prägezeichnung seinen Weg auf das Papier finden. Das Verfahren habe ich in vielfachen Versuchen selbst gefunden und perfektioniert. Der Baum ist das Ausgangsmaterial, der uns zeigt, immer nach dem Licht zu streben. Die Zeit, die Spuren in uns hinterlässt sehe ich abstrakt im Papier in den Jahresringen. Das Zitat von Phase aus Berlin, die Leichtigkeit der Arbeit und die eigentliche Einfachheit und Fragilität unseres Lebens berührt mich jedes Mal sehr unmittelbar und bringen mich ins Jetzt.

The paper relief is a metaphor for our life between ups and downs, beauty and cracks. A relationship between parent and child, wood and paper, the same material in different forms. The same structure is handed down, but unlike the print, only the part that finds its way onto the paper via my will via the embossing drawing. I found and perfected the method myself in many experiments. The tree is the source material that shows us to always strive for the light. The time that leaves traces in us I see abstractly in the paper in the annual rings. The quote from Phase from Berlin, the lightness of the work and the actual simplicity and fragility of our life always touches me very directly and bring me into the present.
